The area was due to be cleared last winter. By occupying the forest temporarily and protesting on the street, people managed to prevent this until the court issued a temporary ban on the clearing. It seems the court\u2019s arguments could not be refuted, so the permit has been revoked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thank you to all that have been supporting us!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>From October onwards<\/strong>, trees may in principle be felled again. However, as far as we know, there are currently no valid felling permits in place for the WiWa!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That&#8217;s why this year we will organise our protest camp for the fourth time! From September 25 to October 04 we will be camping on the clearing in the Wild Forest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Last winter only 800 m\u00b2 of the forest were at risk, for the so-called Spreehafenviertel they plan on clearing the entire forest. The development plan (Bebauungsplan or \u201cB-Plan\u201d) has not yet been finalised, we can still stop the plans! Worst case we are prepared to block any attempts at clearing the Wild Forest.
